Were you at Tapestry last weekend? Well, I missed the action. I have people telling me they had to run back & forth from Wheelock to Far East to catch the bands. Grr. Thanks people, I do feel so much better.
After the competition on Saturday, it was dinner with the girls, then Shidah and me left for town, hoping to catch the last bands performing. By the time we reached Wheelock Place, it was 9.45pm and we heard the MC go "Okay, that's all we have for tonight!" (familiar, no?) Boohoo.
After which, we decided to try our luck at Far East. And hey, we were lucky! So we stood alongside everyone else outside of Far East Plaze, near Old Chang Kee, and noticed a lot of familiar face. There were Sean, Ken, Hafiz & Alfred who were playing. Fauzie and the rest were hanging out by the sides. And i saw Ferhad.
At the same time, we were approached by this chirpy lady and asked if we wanted to make a donation. I got the Tapestry tag thingy for donating 2 bucks, and it's a very nice tag. I saw alot of people using it in school.
So, I may have missed WGB and Leaven Trait (damn), but at least I got to catch these guys in action...and i got a very nice lanyard for helping the needy. Hooray.
All these, with the flower still in my hair. Aren't you proud of me?

Somebody said that I'm always talking about my perpetually-late habits. Hafidz, i don't lor...
Anyway, received this rather amusing email about Why Women Choose to be Single. Heh. There's some truth in it, but please do take it with a pinch of salt.

1. The nice men are ugly.
2. The handsome men are not nice.
3. The handsome & nice men are gay.
4. The handsome, nice & heterosexual men are married or already attached in a committed relationship.
5. The men who are not so handsome,but are nice men, have no money.
6. The men who are not so handsome,but are nice men with money think we are only after their money.
7. The handsome men without money are after our money.
8. The handsome men,who are not so nice & somewhat heterosexual, don't think we are beautiful enough.
9. The men who think we are beautiful, that are heterosexual, somewhat nice & have money, are cowards.
10. The men who are somewhat handsome,somewhat nice & have some money & thank God are heterosexual, are shy & NEVER MAKE THE FIRST MOVE!!!!
11. The men who never make the first move,automatically lose interest in us when we take the initiative.
