ok i just got back from Malaysia yesterday. and i managed to stabilise my head.

kampung was so super fun. my big family, my uncles, aunties, cousins and both my grandneneks were there. it was so jolly! my uncle cracked crazy jokes the whole time and everyone was laughing out loud sampai sakit perut. it didnt matter tho coz the neighbours
weren't close enuff to be able to hear & complain.

on the 2nd night, there was a blackout and it was pitch black! but we placed candles all over the house and we survived. it was fun-er than the blackout in Singapore! haha..being in the middle of a blackout in HDB flats is one thing..but this time it was a blackout in a kampung that is surrounded by the forest, lots of trees, deserted little road and many noisy people. Thrilling indeed.

We also went to KL...and everyone was so kecoh. We took the Monorail & the LRT and the Komuter. The Monorail was SO SCARY. it was like riding on a rollercoaster, the track was super narrow, and it was going so fast. I was so typically tourist with my digicam snappinng pictures whenever possible. The kecohness was mortifying but it made our trip memorable.

What i hated about the trip tho, was the fact that out of so many days in a year, we had to be in KL on the 1st of May 2005. The day that PeterPan had a concert in Planet Hollywood KL at 4pm, and at the same time and place, the tix for the Dewa concert was being sold.

So what's so bad about that? the fact that i was there in KL and i could actually go and at least get the tix....then it hit me, I'M NOT GOING TO THE CONCERT.

i was devastated when i first found out that i couldnt go. Got over it eventually. And now, im convincing myself that it's okay if i'm dun get to go to this concert. Then i watch the short video i took of their concert in Singapore and i feel better.

Anyway, i brought home a great souvenir. This Malaysian mag, ROTTW. Dewa is on the cover! There's also a few page spread about their concert in Singapore and a magnificent poster of them. Bliss.
